Temporary Team Member at Caffè Nero

At Caffè Nero, it’s our people that make us different!

That’s why we’re looking for warm, positive Team Members who genuinely enjoy working with others and serving customers to join our team on a Temporary basis.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Our Temporary Team Members are a key to bringing this to life by:

  • Helping our customers and the team during busy periods.
  • Welcoming customers with their friendly personalities and helping the store and service to run smoothly.
  • Being all hands on deck keeping the store clean and tidy, restocking and helping with deliveries.
  • Keeping the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.

We will give you full training, so experience isn’t essential, but you need to:

  • Have a great attitude and exude energy.
  • Enjoy customer interaction.
  • Enjoy working in a fun and fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible with your working hours.

Our Temporary Team Members earn up to £12.71 per hour in this location. Starter rates apply depending on age:
Under 21: £10.85 per hour
21 and over: £12.71 per hour

When you join us, you’re joining a group of caring, supportive and friendly people – whether that’s your team, the regular customers of your café or your community.

If this sounds good then we’d love to hear from you!

At Caffè Nero you really can be you, with us.

If you are working a closing shift you will be in store up to 30 minutes after it closes and it is very important that you have checked that you are able to travel to the store you are applying to. Can you confirm that you have looked into your commute and you can travel to the location to which you’ve applied in order to fulfil the range of possible shifts?
Keeping the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service is an essential part of everyone’s job. If you join us you will share this responsibility with the team, and some examples would be clearing and cleaning tables or ensuring the toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect. Are you comfortable completing these (and other) cleaning tasks as part of your daily routine in-store?
We’d love to know why you’re interested in our vacancy. Please tell us, in a few sentences, why you’re applying for this opportunity.
